Results

The proof is in the pudding. Over the past ten years our firm has obtained terrific results on behalf of our clients. We take just as much pride in the class action settlement as we do in the individual settlements. DECISIONS

  • Defeated a motion for summary judgment by an employer who engaged in unlawful rounding practices in the Eastern District of New York
  • Defeated a motion for summary judgment by an employer alleging that their employee was exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime in the Eastern District of New York
  • Obtained conditional certification in a FLSA Collective action on behalf of debt collectors in the Eastern District of New York
  • Obtained a motion to dismiss on behalf of an employer for race discrimination claims

TRIAL VICTORIES

  • $450,000 trial victory in the Eastern District of New York on behalf of a cook based in Queens for unpaid overtime (this decision made the top 100 bench decisions for 2019).
